Jacket of Straightness 2 by DaeStock Jacket of Straightness 2 by DaeStock
Twisted little thing in a straight jacket. Straining to the point where the blood vessels in you eyes pop may not be the healthiest option, but it sure looks good on this shot :P

Photographer: ~Evoli-chan

The rules are simple:

1. If you use this picture, credit me. URL back to the picture is fine, but I'd be gratefull if you could also add the icon to the gallery. If you don't know how to do it, just copy
.........................................................................
from here -> : icondaestock : <- to here
.........................................................................
put it in your comments and delete the spaces.

2. Send me link back to your deviation. You can use this image any way you like, I'm not easily offended, so don't worry.

3. Prints are OK, but rule #1 still applies.

4. PLEASE use it only for deviations. The last thing I want or need is my stock ending up on Flickr or Photobucket.

5. Get creative! What are you waiting for? I'm looking foward to see your beautiful work ^^

I did a clerkship in a closed ward once. It was actually very depressing. Love your photos as always, though.

Can imagine why it would be. If you ask me, only two kinds of people end up there... people who were chased by their demons until they lost their mind and people who were simply too smart for their own good.

That's not exactly how it works, but you'd need a full clerkship in psychiatry to understand why! If you really want to get more into it, help yourself to a wonderful manual called the DSM V (V is actually new this year, have been using DSM IV TR for the past twenty years or so).

Intellect really has nothing to do with psychosis one way or another, so you can get people of all kinds.

This gives me inspiration for a story I'm working on. I'll definitely link it back to you when I get some sketches done. School's a beast right now but I'll keep you posted.

Holy crap the expression on his face looks to me like a mix between confusion and amazement, the perfect blend and so interesting! I have to wonder what he's watching... (if anything)

When I was doing the shot I had more of a martyr scene in mind, you know, where the pain becomes so great that the brain shuts off the pain receptors and shoots your body up with dopamine, and you feel kind of surprised because you know you're supposed to be in tremendous amounts of pain, but all you can feel is this doped up bliss... I can live into this role way too much for my own good :P

Woah! That's an interesting description. Envisioning what you want to draw out of a pose, an expression, a drawing, painting, etc. certainly helps to make the finished product all the more spectacular and convincing. The mind awakens some amazing realities.
This picture is freaky excellence incarnate. You definitely became the martyr! *cheers* I see this picture in a whole new way now!

That's sweet, but I really don't like coffee. I'd love some black tea though ^^
